Not often do the predictable results of the Democrats’ border policies become so obvious locally (“New Kensington-Arnold considers adding in-house ESL service, phasing out French,” Jan. 26, TribLive). The rising number of English as a second language students has required difficult decisions be made at the local level. In this case, an educational option for the children of American taxpayers was eliminated so that those resources could be used to educate those who don’t speak English as their primary language. Our state and federal laws require that when resources are limited, this is prioritized while our children do without. Sickening.
For four years, the Democrats not only failed to secure the border, but I think they also worked to get as many migrants across the border as possible; through abuses of channels such as parole, asylum and the Temporary Protected Status program, the Democrats consistently put the interests of all comers before any American. This should be shameful; however, watching the events in Minnesota tells me this is only the beginning.
To Americans who consider themselves Democrats, is this what you want?
