CitiParks officials announced five Healthy Active Living Senior Centers will open in Pittsburgh as as warming centers on Wednesday due to severely low temperatures are forecast.

Those centers are:

• Beechview Healthy Active Living Community Center, at 1555 Broadway Ave., from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Greenfield Healthy Active Living Community Center, at 745 Greenfield Ave., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Homewood Healthy Active Living Community Center, at 7321 Frankstown Road, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Sheraden Healthy Active Living Community Center, at 720 Sherwood Ave., from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• South Side Market House Healthy Active Living Community Center, at 12th & Bingham streets, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Hazelwood Healthy Active Living Community Center, at 5344 Second Ave., will open at 8 a.m.

All other CitiParks Healthy Active Living Senior Centers — Glen Hazel, Lawrenceville, Morningside, Mount Washington and West End — will be closed Wednesday.

These CitiParks Recreation Centers will be open Wednesday:

• Ammon, at 2217 Bedford Ave., from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Brookline, at 1400 Oakridge St., from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Magee, at 745 Greenfield Ave., from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Phillips, at 201 Parkfield St., from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Warrington, at 329 Warrington Ave., from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Arlington, Jefferson, Ormsby, Paulson and West Penn will be closed Wednesday.
