Benefit concert to aid East Deer first responder
A concert to benefit the Hermie Bertolini Fire Fund will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Pittsburgh Brewing Company, 150 Ferry St., Creighton, East Deer.
Doors open at 3 p.m. Music will be by the Nied’s Hotel Band and the Shiners and there will be drink specials and a basket raffle.
Tickets are $15 in advance and will be $20 at the door. Proceeds will benefit Bertolini who lost his home to fire in December. He is a volunteer and EMT with East Deer Volunteer Fire Department. For tickets, visit tinyurl.com/4ttznk8y.
Night of comedy planned at Sardis VFD
A night of comedy to benefit Sardis Volunteer Fire Department will be Saturday at the fire company’s social hall, 5205 Rocky Hill Lane, Murrysville.

Free adult swim nights offered by Highlands SD
Highlands School District offers free adult swim nights from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the high school pool, Harrison.
Adults who live in the district are welcome and must show a photo ID to prove residency. Lifeguards will be on duty and no reservations are required.

• Due to the impact of last weekend’s snow storm and the extreme temperatures, Highlands High School has postponed the Musical Alumni Cabaret concert to be at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 in the high school auditorium in Harrison.
