The extended family of 3-year-old Karma Murray-Sinicki, who died Wednesday in Harrison’s Natrona neighborhood, has established a GoFundMe to assist with the cost of funeral services.

“Sweet little Karma passed away unexpectedly at 3 years old,” read the fund created by the child’s aunt, Rachel Kish, of Greensburg.

“Mom & Dad are not prepared for this in so many ways. In order to help them with one thing we are asking for donations to help cover expenses during this tragic time.”

The fund has brought in more than $8,000 of a $14,000 goal as of Thursday evening.

Contacted Thursday, Kish declined to comment.

Harrison Township police responded to Pine Street in Natrona, for a medical incident just after noon Wednesday.

Allegheny County Police were subsequently requested to handle the investigation due to the nature of the incident, township police Chief Brian Turack said.

An update was not available Thursday, according to county police.

“The investigation is ongoing, pending results from the (Allegheny County) Medical Examiner’s Office,” county public safety spokesman Jim Madalinsky said.

The medical examiner’s office has not yet made an official identification or released a cause of death.

Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Karma’s father, Benjamin Murray-Sinicki, posted a comment to the GoFundMe page expressing his appreciation.

“I genuinely can’t believe all the support from everyone. I don’t know what to say,” the post read. “So many people are giving their love and support. Thank you so much.”
