Zion’s Lutheran Church, Greensburg, will have services at 12:05 p.m. Thursdays during Lent at the church, 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Lunch will be afterward. Lunch cost: $5.

Fundraiser

Harrold Zion Evangelical Church youth group will sponsor its third annual Shrove Mardi Gras pancake dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 17 in the church social hall, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Hempfield. Donations will be accepted to benefit the youth group.

• Golden Dome Knitting Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 139 N. Main St., Greensburg. The program will be about the standard yarn weight system. A chart will be distributed with the categories of yarn, gauge ranges and needle and hook sizes. Bring something that you made or are working on and items for Feeding the Spirit and chemo caps. Senior Citizen News

• Irwin Senior Activity Center, 310 Oak St., will have a Mardi Gras lunch at 11 a.m. Feb. 17. Bring a covered dish to share. Ashes will be distributed at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 in the television room. Donations are accepted for all activities. Details: 724-787-1760.
