Anessa Donoghue added 12 points for the Blue Devils (7-15). Delaney Amato scored 16 points and Zoe Devlin had 14 for North Hills (7-15). Devlin’s attempt at a game-tying 3-pointer nearly fell just before the buzzer. Mt. Lebanon will meet No. 1 Canon-McMillan in the quarterfinals Thursday.
Beaver 62, Mt. Pleasant 35 – Annsley Baker scored 29 points and Ava Wright added 12 to lead No. 6 Beaver (15-8) to a Class 4A first-round win. Grace Arrigo scored 12 points for No. 11 Mt. Pleasant (10-12). The Bobcats will face No. 3 North Catholic in the quarterfinals Thursday.
Belle Vernon 85, Lincoln Park 62 – Aubrey Brown led with a career-high 24 points, Lyla McConnell followed with 20 and Isis Almyty added 11 to push No. 4 Belle Vernon (20-3) to a Class 4A first-round win. Patty Wesolowski scored 19 points and Brooke Certo and Ashton Michael had 14 points apiece for No. 13 Lincoln Park (10-13). Belle Vernon will meet No. 5 Elizabeth Forward in the quarterfinals Thursday.
Eden Christian 46, Bishop Canevin 38 – Annalese Haring scored 20 points and Hannah Wallace added 14 to lead No. 9 Eden Christian (11-9) to a Class A first-round win. Kya Cooley scored 19 points and Isabella Sysak had 10 for No. 8 Bishop Canevin (9-12). The Warriors will meet No. 1 Aquinas Academy in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
Elizabeth Forward 58, Hopewell 37 – Kaelynn Settles scored 18 points and Mia Sostaric had 14 for No. 5 Elizabeth Forward (17-6) in a Class 4A first-round win. Caylee Sundy scored 15 points and Avery Boyd had 14 for No. 12 Hopewell (6-15). Mia Curinga added 10 points for the Warriors, who will meet No. 4 Belle Vernon in the quarterfinals Thursday.
North Catholic 67, Laurel Highlands 21 – Brady Wehner led with 20 points and Harmony Jones followed with 13 for No. 3 North Catholic (18-5) in a Class 4A first-round win over No. 14 Laurel Highlands (8-15). Sam Weir added 10 points for North Catholic, which will meet No. 6 Beaver in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
Portersville Christian 46, Cheswick Christian 20 – Zada Morley scored nine points to lead Portersville Christian in the Southwestern Christian Athletic Conference quarterfinals. Grace Kostick led Cheswick Christian with 12 points.
Sewickley Academy 64, Monessen 41 – Mikaela Mbandi led with 16 points, Charlotte Morton followed with 15 and Nina Caputo added 13 for No. 7 Sewickley Academy (14-9) in a Class A first-round win. Madison Johnson scored 29 points and made four 3-pointers for No. 10 Monessen (7-15). Athena Ameredes chipped in 12 points for the Panthers, who will meet No. 2 Serra Catholic in Thursday’s quarterfinals.
West Greene 50, Clairton 21 – Madelyn Roberts scored 19 points and Sammi Zimmerman added nine to lead No. 6 West Greene (17-6) to a Class A first-round win. Karma Fuqua and Jamiya Brownfield scored eight points apiece for No. 11 Clairton (8-11). The Pioneers will meet No. 3 Union in Thursday’s quarterfinals.

Clairton 60, Shenango 25 – Brandon Murphy Jr. scored 16 points and Jeff Thompson III added 11 as No. 5 Clairton (17-3) pulled away from No. 12 Shenango (15-8) in the Class 2A first round. The Bears, who took control with a 16-7 advantage in the second quarter, will face No. 4 Neshannock in Thursday’s quarterfinals. Taegan Russo scored 10 points to lead the Wildcats.
Eden Christian 68, Laurel 42 – Mason Dean hit five 3-pointers and finished with 22 points to lead No. 9 Eden Christian (17-6) in the Class 2A first round. River Bartram added 19 points and Brady Salvia had 11 for the Warriors, who will meet No. 1 Jeannette in the quarterfinals Thursday. Vern Sipe scored 14 points and Tyrone Kunselman had 10 for No. 8 Laurel (14-9).
Imani Christian 83, North Hills 69 – No. 11 Imani Christian (7-16) knocked off No. 6 North Hills (15-8) in the Class 6A first round. The Saints will take on No. 3 Central Catholic in the quarterfinals Thursday.
Jefferson-Morgan 49, Springdale 35 – Jeremiah Robertson hit for 26 points as No. 6 Jefferson-Morgan reached the WPIAL quarterfinals for the first time in 26 years with a victory over No. 11 Springdale in the Class 2A first round. Dayten Marion added 14 points for the Rockets (22-1), who will face No. 3 Our Lady of the Sacred Heart on Thursday. Robby Simmen scored 15 points and Liam Dexter added nine for the Dynamos (12-10).
Neshannock 57, Fort Cherry 40 – David Kwiat scored 17 points and Jino Mozzocio added 12 to lead No. 4 Neshannock (18-4) to a Class 2A first-round win. Tyler Wolfe scored 21 points for No. 13 Fort Cherry (13-9). The Lancers will face No. 5 Clairton in the quarterfinals Thursday.
OLSH 54, Bentworth 40 – Tiernan McCullough and Jake Johnson scored 14 points apiece and Frankie Igrec added 12 to lead No. 3 OLSH (19-4) to a Class 2A first-round win. Adam Moessner scored 12 points and Ryan Moessner had 10 for No. 14 Bentworth (15-7), which jumped out to a 13-5 lead after the first quarter. The Chargers, who took control with a 25-11 advantage in the third quarter, will meet No. 6 Jefferson-Morgan in the quarterfinals Thursday.
Winchester Thurston 56, Chartiers-Houston 42 – Mike Hammerling scored 16 points and Anthony Pipkin added 15 as No. 10 Winchester Thurston (16-7) won in the Class 2A first round. The Bears, who went on an 8-0 run in the second quarter and scored the final 12 points of the game, will meet No. 2 Sewickley Academy in the quarterfinals Thursday. Wesley Yeater scored 18 points, including four 3-pointers, for No. 7 Chartiers-Houston (18-5), which went on a 10-0 run to close within two points in the fourth quarter.

Butler 3, Mars 1 – Greyson Steadman had a goal and an assist and Harper Slater made 20 saves to lead Butler (15-4-1) in a matchup of the top two teams in the Class A Gold standings. Xavier Bossola scored for Mars (16-1-2).
Canon-McMillan 3, Montour 1 – Eli Pruss, Michael Traynor and Elliot Moser scored to lead Canon-McMillan (19-1) to a Class A win. Trey Varga scored for Montour (7-12-1).
Hampton 3, Meadville 2 – Hampton (9-9-2) scored twice the final eight minutes to pull out a Class A win. Joseph Stephenson scored the game-winner with 1:28 to play, Elijah Schwarzbach had a goal and an assist and Scott Cameron also scored in the win. Patrick Mahoney and Shawn Wilkerson scored for Meadville (6-11-2).
Neshannock 8, McDowell 0 – Grant Hennon scored a hat trick, Marko Relic added a goal and two assists and Tripp Johns made 20 saves to help Neshannock (14-4-1) past McDowell (5-13) in Division 2. Hayden Seifert, Jacob Gruber, Hayden Tatterson and Sean McGraw also scored.
North Hills 11, Wheeling Central Catholic 3 – Christopher Muschar had two goals and four assists, Blake Kunkel and Brady Peterson each added two goals and three assists and Jonathan Trosky had two goals and two assists to lead North Hills (10-7-3) in Class A. Owen Mullin, Graham Stecker and Rowen Parker scored for Wheeling Central Catholic (1-18).
Penn-Trafford 7, Latrobe 6 (SO) – Penn-Trafford (15-4) scored three goals in the final 10 minutes of the third period to grab a shootout win in Class 2A. Sean Goodman had two goals and two assists, including the tying goal with 2:14 to play. Brock Bienemann had a hat trick and added an assist and Jordan Turek also scored in the win. Jaxson Kettering had two goals and an assist, Colton Goodlin also scored twice, Landon Miney had a goal and an assist and Brogan Murphy also scored for Latrobe (9-9-2).
Seneca Valley 3, Central Catholic 0 – Jacob Gilbert scored twice, Carson Lindberg added a goal and Chris Nichols made 10 saves to send Seneca Valley (18-0-1) to a Class 3A win. Mason Barbieri made 27 saves for Central Catholic (11-7-2).
Shaler 2, Bishop McCort 1 (OT) – Chase Irwin scored the overtime winner, Roman Angelo also had a goal and Joshua Yuiska assisted on both to lead Shaler (10-8-1) in Class 2A. Jackson Fox made 18 saves in the win. Mark Pazniak scored and AJ Chiaravalle made 23 saves for Bishop McCort (9-9-1).
Thomas Jefferson 4, Franklin Regional 2 – Carter Merrell had a goal and two assists and Emery Molnar added a goal and an assist to lead Thomas Jefferson (11-7-1) to a Class 3A win. Gary Pritchard and Lucas Blose also scored and Owen Michael had three assists in the win. Joey Casella scored twice, Ryan Crouse had two assists and Payson Neff made 34 saves for Franklin Regional (5-11-2).
