The hunt is on.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 North Allegheny Women’s Association Adult Egg Hunt, which is planned from 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 27 at the North Park Lodge along North Ridge Drive.

Each ticket costs $40, plus a $4.52 service fee, and will benefit the North Allegheny Women’s Association and North Hills Cares.

“We are excited to be part of NAWA’s Adult Egg Hunt this year. The funds raised on our behalf will directly support local families by providing food this spring,” said Lynne Sciulli, executive director of North Hills Cares.

North Hills Cares is a nonprofit organization formed in 2018, benefiting individuals, children and families by alleviating food insecurity and removing barriers to education, according to northhillscares.com. The group also promotes community service.

Tickets for the egg hunt, which is only open to 21 and older, will include dinner, one “boozy” drink and five raffle tickets. Hundreds of eggs filled with raffle tickets to win a basket prize also will be hidden for participants.

A gift card drive for North Hills Cares is new this year. Attendees can bring a gift card worth $10 or more for the following stores: Aldi, Giant Eagle, Target, Shop ’n Save and Kuhn’s Market.

A prize also will be awarded for the most creative basket design.

The North Allegheny Women’s Association has been volunteering with North Hills Cares since 2024.

“We chose NHC as our beneficiary for the 50-50 raffle at this year’s Adult Egg Hunt because we have found them to be a great partner, and our missions align in serving women in our local communities,” said Gale Richardson, vice president of the North Allegheny Women’s Association.

Association members have volunteered at the North Hills Cares kids summer lunch program and sponsored the group’s end-of-summer party. They also helped out at the Pictures of Santa booth during the North Hills Cares Community Music celebration in December at The Block Northway, according to Richardson of McCandless.

The work of North Hills Cares benefits families in Avalon, Bellevue, Etna, Millvale, Ross, Shaler and West View, Scuilli said.

“NHC serves communities across the northern suburbs by bringing together neighbors in need and individuals and organizations who want to help,” said Sciulli, who lives in Ross with her husband, Tony, a board member.

The North Allegheny Women’s Association is a social and charitable organization for women in the North Allegheny communities Bradford Woods, Franklin Park, McCandless and Marshall. The group serves women in need while developing friendships and support networks.

Tickets can be purchased on eventbrite.com or through a link from the North Allegheny Women’s Association website and social media pages. Sales end March 26.
