Rosina Food Products has recalled 9,462 pounds of meatballs that may be contaminated with metal.
The Bremer Family Size Italian Style Meatballs were sold nationwide at Aldi, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. The recall was issued Feb. 22.
The fully cooked, frozen meatballs are packaged in a 32-ounce bag with a best-by date of Oct. 30, 2026. Timestamps on the back of the label range from 17:08 through 18:20.
The contamination was discovered after a consumer complained about finding metal fragments in the meatballs.
There have been no confirmed reports of injuries.
People who bought the meatballs should return them to the place of purchase for a refund or throw them away.
