Cornhole tournament planned by Freeport International Baseball Invitational
Freeport International Baseball Invitational will host a cornhole tournament fundraiser March 7 at South Buffalo Volunteer Firehall, 100 Firehall Road.
Doors open at 4 p.m. and games will begin at 5 p.m. Entry fee is $50 per team and includes food and beverages. Spectators are welcome attend for a $15 admission fee that includes food and drinks. Players must be at least 21 years old. Cash prizes will be awarded to the first- and second-place teams and there will be a basket raffle and a 50-50.

Quilt show winners to be announced March 7
Community Library of Allegheny Valley will host its annual Quilt Show through March 7 at the library, 1522 Broadview Blvd., Natrona Heights.
There is no cost to enter, view or vote on a quilt. The quilt with the most votes in each category will be announced at a reception set for 10:30 a.m. to noon March 7.
