I routinely write our congressional representatives. Usually the senators (John Fetterman and Dave McCormick) don’t respond. To be honest, I did get a canned response from McCormick the last time I wrote. But it did not address the subject I questioned; it was a canned response. On the contrary, Congressman Guy Reschenthaler responds each time I write. But his letters’ content doesn’t confront my concerns.
These representatives I believe don’t earn reelection. They seem to support the administration policy with no regard for the wishes and good of the constituency.
While on the subject of letters, lately in this space I have noticed some factual and well-written opinions. The authors have constructed their writing to be truthful and educational concerning the law, the Constitution and the laws being broken. I applaud you.
Hopefully the majority of people will remember these sad facts of the way this administration operates when voting on Nov. 3. Praying that we have a free and fair election; it’s not looking good.
