5K Shamrock Run planned by Kiski Area Track and Field team

The Kiski Area Track and Field Team 5K Shamrock Run will be March 14 at Kunkle Park, 285 Pun Run Church Road, Washington Township.

Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. and the race will start at 10 a.m. The registration fee is $30 and includes a race bag and T-shirt. Early packet pickup will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. March 12 at Kiski Area Upper Elementary School, 4350 Route 66, Washington Township.

Gambling screenings, information available March 10

The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission will sponsor a gambling disorder screening day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 10 in the second floor cafeteria of Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, 1Nolte Drive, East Franklin.

The screening will consist of three questions that identify gambling-related problems. Information will be available about problem gambling, responsible gambling, treatment resources, alcohol and drugs.
