Goaltender Sergei Murashov made 27 saves on 29 shots for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Cleveland Monsters at Rocket Arena in Cleveland on Saturday.

The result dropped Murashov’s record to 20-6-2.

Defenseman Matt Dumba scored the lone goal for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (36-13-4-2), which had a four-game winning streak snapped.

Penguins forward Tristan Broz did not finish the contest, leaving late in the second period due to an undisclosed injury. There was no immediate word on his status and he will be evaluated once the team returns to Wilkes-Barre, according to a team spokesperson.

Forwards Connor Lockhart and Ryan McAllister each had a goal and an assist for the Wheeling Nailers in a 6-4 win against the Fort Wayne Komets at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Defenseman Emil Pieniniemi recorded three assists for Wheeling (31-15-4-1).

Goaltender Maxim Pavlenko made 27 saves on 32 shots as his record fell to 12-9-0.
