The Easter Bunny is expected to leave something a little different than painted eggs at Pittsburgh Brewing Company this year.

The East Deer brewery will host its annual Brew Basket Hunt at 1 p.m. April 4.

Adults 21 and older will be given free rein of the brewery’s outdoor campus to hunt for about 1,500 hidden beers. The prize pot includes seasonal brews, exclusive beers and Pittsburgh Brewing classics. Each participant will be given an empty six-pack container to use as their basket.

Once a hunter touches a beer, they must add it to their container. By the end of the hunt, each participant will have created a unique six-pack tailored to their taste. Some of the beers will come with prizes.

This year’s prizes include VIP and general admission tickets to the brewery’s NFL Draft watch party, tickets to the PBC Rock n’ Regatta, gift certificates and an Iron City Beer sign.

According to a release from the brewery, around 250 people are expected to attend the event.

The event is open to people of all ages, and a food truck will be on-site during the event. The brewery’s taproom will open at noon to the public.
