Chamberlain Road between Gill Hall Road and Shenandoah Drive in Jefferson Hills will close beginning at 7 a.m. March 10.
The closure is expected to last until June as work crews replace a culvert, perform road repairs and install guide rails, signs and pavement markings.
Traffic will be detoured using Gill Hall and Old Clairton roads. Residents who live near the closure will not lose access to their homes.
Chamberlain Road is used by more than 3,000 drivers each day, according to Allegheny County traffic data.
Pugliano Construction of Plum will undertake the roughly $518,000 project.
