Meeting

• The Braddock Trail chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet March 14 at the chapter house, 200 S. Church St., Mt. Pleasant. Lunch will be at noon and the meeting will be at 1 p.m. The program will be the American History Essay Contest award winners.

Special Event

A business roundtable will be held 8 a.m. March 20 at the Murrysville Community Center, 3091 Carson Ave. Speakers will include the Pennsylvania National Federation of Independent Business director Greg Moreland and Dan DeBone, president and CEO of the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce. Sports

Rostraver Sportsmen’s and Conservation Association will sponsor a Chukar Challenge bird dog event March 29 at the club, 559 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver. Events will include singles pointing and flushing, puppy pointing and flushing, and doubles pointing and flushing. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three in each division field. Scholarship

Greensburg Kiwanis Club is accepting applications for its scholarship program that awards five $2,000 scholarships to students from Greensburg Central Catholic, Greensburg Salem, Hempfield Area and Greater Latrobe high schools who plan to further their education at any institute of higher learning, including technical schools and community colleges.
