The Trib 10 this week is like the prince seeing if the glass slipper he may or may not have legally confiscated belonged to Cinderella.

It was indeed a perfect fit.

Much like the power rankings are a perfect fit as both the WPIAL boys and girls are down to the district’s final 10 teams heading into the PIAA quarterfinals.

On the boys side, there are three teams left in Class 6A, two in 5A, two in 4A (along with the City League’s Obama Academy), two in 2A and one in Class A. Class 3A has been wiped clean of WPIAL representatives.

For the girls, the WPIAL has one left in 6A, three each in 5A and 4A, two in 3A and one in 2A. It was two and done for district teams in Class A.

Here are the latest edition Trib 10 basketball power rankings with overall record and last week’s ranking.
