The Seton Hill women’s basketball team moved on in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

The Griffins advanced to the semifinals of the NCAA Division II Atlantic Regional with an 88-85 victory in double overtime over Fayetteville State on Friday night at IUP’s Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

Hallie Cowan had 23 points, including five 3-pointers, Hailee Ford added 21 and seven rebounds and do-it-all forward Mia Kalich had 19 points, 22 rebounds, eight assists and seven steals.

Cowan and Kalich both played 48 minutes for the Griffins (22-8).

Ford was injured in the final seconds of the seconds of overtime and was helped off the court.

The Griffins had 27 offensive rebounds and 20 steals.

The Griffins will play IUP (27-3) at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The regional final is Monday night.

Talia Trotter had a triple-double for Fayetteville State (21-6) with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Nyah Wilkins added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
