• Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art will host its ninth annual Easter egg hunt March 28 at the museum, 1 Boucher Lane, Ligonier. Face painting will be at 1 p.m., and the egg hunt will be afterward, rain or shine. Living Treasures Animal Park will bring a joey baby kangaroo and some bunnies. Fundraisers

• A bowl-a-thon to benefit Mon Valley Paws will be held March 22 at AMF Lanes, 4742 Route 51, Rostraver. Cost: $30 per bowler. There will be a basket raffle, 50-50 and pet food collection. Details: 724-314-6571.

• Lincoln Heights Civic Association bingo, 1 to 3 p.m. March 19 at the center, 42 Millersdale Road, Hempfield. There will be 20 regular games and five quickies. Payout is 50-50. Free coffee. Cost: 25 cents for a three-card board; $1 for quickies.

• Norwin High School Softball is accepting reservations from Norwin Area School District residents for an Egg My Yard fundraiser. The team will decorate your yard with goodie-filled Easter eggs on Easter morning. Cost: 100 eggs, $75; 75 eggs, $60; 50 eggs, $45; and 25 eggs, $25. Donations of plastic eggs, non-chocolate candy and cash are being accepted. Order deadline: April 3. Services available will include disability and pension claims, benefit questions, assisting spouses with survivor benefits issues and applications for veterans grants. In observation of Vietnam War Veterans Day, Norwin Elks will host a free lunch for all veterans April 8 at the Elks Lodge, 135 Elks Lane, Manor.
