A woman ran away after being involved in a wrong-way crash Saturday morning on the Fort Duquesne Bridge in Pittsburgh, according to state police.
State police said Pittsburgh officers found Lindsay K. Kleeman, 41, of Butler near the 31st Street Bridge six to seven hours after the 6:30 a.m. crash.
According to state police, Kleeman was driving south in the I-279 northbound lanes toward the Fort Duquesne Bridge. Vehicles driven by Chaquan K. Jackie, 33, of Pittsburgh and Emily E. Beres, 27, of Monaca were traveling north on the bridge.
Kleeman’s car first hit Jackie’s pickup and then Beres’ car, state police said.
Beres suffered an injury of unknown severity and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, state police said. Kleeman and Jackie were not hurt.
State police said Kleeman and Jackie were charged, however, no charges could be found in court records Sunday.
