Costco, the membership warehouse club known for selling bulk items at discount, is now offering lower prices for fertility treatments.

Costco members will be able to save up to 80% on certain fertility medications like Follistim through the big-box store’s pharmacy programs, People reported. Some medications can cost thousands of dollars out of pocket.

For as low as $99 per month, members of Costco can get preconception and early fertility guidance from doctors through the health care companySesame, according to its website.

IVF can be upward of $5,000 or $6,000 with insurance, and as much as $30,000 without, Self Magazine reported.

In partnership with Sesame and the fertility company IVI RMA North America, Costco announced the news last week.

Annual memberships at Costco run from $65 to $130. In addition to its pharmacy service, the company offers insurance, photo, travel and optical services.

Costco said the program will “transform how fertility care is accessed in the U.S.” and address barriers to care for the one in six Americans who experience infertility.

Through the new partnership, Costco members will have access to:

  • high quality fertility care
  • advanced reproductive medicine specialists
  • affordable and competitive pricing
  • coordinated care throughout the fertility journey
  • telehealth apppointments
  • comprehensive intake evaluations
  • diagnostic workups
  • referrals to specialty care

“By combining transparent pricing with coordinated care, we’re removing the barriers that have historically kept quality fertility treatment out of reach for too many families,” said Richard Stephens, senior vice president of pharmacy at Costco.

Patients start with Sesame clinicians. Those who require specialty care will be directly connected to IVI RMA — where there are additional discounts for Costco members. The company will provide patients with fertility options like IVF and IUI.

“By connecting patients directly with care coordinators and world-class specialists, we’re making family planning accessible and delivering measurably better outcomes through coordinated, continuous care,” said David Goldhill, CEO and founder of Sesame.

IVI RMA CEO Lynn Mason cited President Donald Trump’s 2025 executive order aimed at “expanding access” to IVF as part of the reason for the Costco partnership, People reported.

“The presidential order was a clear call to action — and as leaders of the fertility industry we are executing on that mandate,” Mason said. “In partnership with Costco and Sesame, we are expanding access to quality fertility care and reducing barriers so more people across the country can build the families they desire.”
