A new closing sale of sorts has started at Macy’s at Pittsburgh Mills.

The anchor store, which announced its plans to leave the Frazer mall this spring, is selling its store fixtures, shelving units and more.

A post on Facebook marketplace lists tables, holiday decor, art, clothes and accessory racks, mannequins, office furniture, displays and visual decor.

Shelves are going for $50 per 4-foot section. Industrial-sized shelving stands about 12-feet tall, according to the post.

Macy’s officials said the store is scheduled to shutter by early April.

The store in the increasingly vacant mall is among 150 locations that the New York City-based company plans to close this year.

“The decision allows us to focus on improving nearby Macy’s locations and invest in the stores and digital experiences where customers are choosing to shop today,” Macy’s Inc. said in a statement to TribLive.

“We first communicated directly with our Macy’s colleagues at Pittsburgh Mills and are supporting them through the transition, including transfer opportunities where available and severance and support where applicable.”

The 12-acre store property in Frazer had been owned by Macy’s despite being attached to the mall. The owner of the Pittsburgh Mills, Namdar Realty Group, purchased the Macy’s building for $2 million in January, according to the Allegheny County Real Estate website.

Macy’s remains open as a clearance sale continues.

Fixture sales and pickup hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Sales are first-come, first-served.
