Springdale Police will host its first youth movie night at the borough building Friday.
The “Badges and Bites” event is the first of several planned movie nights organized by the police department and Councilman Joe Kern.
Kern said the department is still determining what film to screen.
The free show is set to take place in Springdale Borough Council chambers from 6:30-9:30 p.m. for children under 14.
All children must be accompanied by a parent.
Attendees should bring their own chair or blanket.
Free pizza, popcorn, snacks and drinks will be provided.
“It’s going to be a real nice event,” Kern said.
