By the time many of you read this, you’ll already be mad at your own brackets in March Madness.
Specifically, you’ll be angry at the advice Mike DeCourcy and I gave you for your Final Four picks. I take responsibility in advance of our inevitable failures.
Between now and then, though, I present to you a smattering of Pittsburgh Steelers discontent, social media trash talk and hockey hostility.
Here is this week’s “U mad, bro?”
Let’s start with someone who ran into a brick wall of Steelers reality.
Me seeing Kevin Colbert’s entire last draft not get a 2nd contract… pic.twitter.com/LiGFe99EaP

Fair enough.
Now, here’s me realizing that — from that class — George Pickens went on to a Pro Bowl in Dallas, and Chris Oladokun picked up two Super Bowl rings in Kansas City.
Dan is mad that Radko Gudas only got a five-game suspension for injuring Auston Matthews after he took out Sidney Crosby in the Olympics.
This all can be fixed but the owners refuse too….including owners that have superstars on their payroll! Why is that? https://t.co/59RYMG8wP3

Laziness. Inertia being greater than progress. Stupidity in hockey masking as toughness in hockey. An inability to work around the duality that goons such as Gudas are represented by the same union as Crosby and Matthews.
Those are the answers that I can determine. Of course, all those answers are crummy answers. But they are the best that I can come up with.
When I say them, they are answers on behalf of the NHL. When the NHL advances them, they are rotten excuses that should be overcome.
“Jefferson Washington” has a plan to solve the Steelers’ QB quandary.
Pittsburgh should have Will Howard, Drew Allar, and Carson Beck at QB in 2027, not necessarily in that order.

If the Steelers have used three picks in two years to find one quarterback, then they are doing something wrong.
Here is someone who seems to be underwhelmed by the Steelers’ offseason.
It’s hard being excited about the New Coke era the Steelers are entering.
Until it’s clear to all Rooney is the problem, as evidenced by player report cards for years, late season collapse will continue regardless how Khan rearranges the deck chairs on this ill-fated voyage.

As soon as you sent this, I had this image in my head of Omar Khan holding Aaron Rodgers around the waist at the front of the Gateway Clipper as the sun sets over the Monongahela in the warm June air once he finally re-signs…
… only to have Aaron push him off a broken door into the frigid depths below after they hit a 10-8 iceberg yet again in January.
Finally, @aalatt8 fired back at the UMBC basketball team after they took a shot at a Pittsburgh Steelers troll in their mentions.
Well, we earned the right to be in the tournament by recently winning (multiple) playoff game(s). We understand that may be an unfamiliar concept due to the pro football team in Pittsburgh you support. https://t.co/pc6bvhoQ1c

My friend, UMBC may have lost the battle to Howard. But they won the war of sarcasm.
I may remember this team more for that tweet than I will for the fact that they were the first No. 16 to beat a one-seed (Virginia) in 2018.
That post was epic.
