Notable: Sewickley Academy is playing in the PIAA championship game for the sixth time. The Panthers won in 1997, 2010 and ‘17 and lost in 2004 and last winter. … The Panthers fell to District 3’s Lineville Hill, 55-54, in last season’s state final. Battles, Spencer, Grimsley and Kane were all starters in that game. … In the semifinals, Kane scored 21 points, and Adam Ikamba added 16 for the Panthers.
