Braden Kemmerer, Greg Huff, Dom Lauletta and Brennan Ryan combined on a no-hitter as Plum blanked Seneca Valley, 6-0, in nonsection baseball Thursday.
Kemmerer started and went two innings, Huff pitched the third and Lauletta and Ryan followed with two innings each, striking out three apiece.
Enzo Mele, Max Vollmer and Ryan Brennan doubled, and Mele and Connor Wilson drove in a run each for the Mustangs (3-0).
Baldwin 5, West Mifflin 4 – Aiden Robinson singled in the bottom of the eighth inning to drive in the winning run as Baldwin (2-0) defeated West Mifflin (1-2) in nonsection play. Ethan Hebling had three doubles and an RBI while Hudson McKain doubled and knocked in two runs for the Highlanders. Nate Fleming tripled twice and drove in two runs and Cody Thornton doubled and had an RBI for Titans.
Blackhawk 3, West Allegheny 0 – Elijah White, Aiden Gill and Trey book combined on a one-hit shutout to lead Blackhawk (2-0) to the nonsection win. Loghan Elich doubled while Carter Davis brought in a runner for the Cougars. Dempsey Naughton doubled for West Allegheny (0-2).
Burrell 11, Knoch 1 – Trey Coury doubled twice and drove in a run and winning pitcher Brayden Mell gave up one run and struck out five in five innings to lead Burrell (1-0) to a nonsection win. Adam Wass and Parker Logut each doubled and plated two runs and Adam Sheftic had a double and an RBI for the Bucs. Kaden Dreher singled and drove in a run for Knoch (0-1).
California 5, Carmichaels 3 – Ian Grodz knocked in two runs, Kaden Weston doubled and had an RBI and Weston Monticelli doubled as California (1-0) got the nonsection win. Brayden Andrews homered and drove in two runs for Carmichaels (0-1).
Canon-McMillan 5, Ringgold 0 – Sebastian Shulsky threw a complete-game one-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts to lead Canon-McMillan (1-0) to a nonsection win. MJ Maruschak singled, doubled and drove in a run and Dillon Musser doubled for the Big Macs. Paul Dzyak had a base hit for Ringgold (0-2).
Cary Christian 2, North Hills 1 – Jacob Reeves struck out eight in 5 ⅔ scoreless innings and Zachary Lindstrom and Reed Harvey drove in runs for Cary Christian in Myrtle Beach. Cooper Ravenstahl doubled, Ethan Guszynski drove in a run and Andrew Rojik allowed two unearned runs in a complete game for North Hills (1-1).
Chartiers-Houston 2, Geibel Catholic 1 – Aaron Walsh went 2 for 5 with a double and singled in the ninth then scored on a wild pitch to lead Chartiers-Houston (1-1) to a nonsection win. Brady Gotfredson tripled for the Buccaneers. Zane Hixson doubled and had an RBI for Geibel Catholic (1-1).
Derry 4, Steel Valley 3 – Noah Stough tripled and had two RBIs and Max Doherty doubled and drove in a run as Derry (1-1) won on a dropped third strike in the seventh. Jordan Smith had two hits and an RBI for Steel Valley (0-1).
Eden Christian 7, Laurel 6 – Jackson Bremmer went 2 for 4 with two doubles and four RBIs, including the walk-off two-run double in the bottom of the seventh, to lead Eden Christian (1-1) to a nonsection win. Brady Hull went 3 for 4 with a double, homer and three RBIs for Eden. Luca Santini doubled and drove in two runs for Laurel (0-1), which scored five runs in the top of the seventh to make it 6-4.
Frazier 9, Southmoreland 4 – Tyler Morrison doubled and drove in two runs to lead Frazier (1-0) to a nonsection win. Noah Bachinski and Logan Solomon each had two hits and an RBI for the Commodores. Mayson Myers doubled and drove in a run for Southmoreland (0-1).
Freeport 10, Highlands 3 – Kason Barker homered and drove home two runs while Ashton Bricker doubled and had four RBIs to lead Freeport (2-0) to a nonsection win over Highlands (0-2).
Hampton 7, Deer Lakes 4 – Drew Bucci doubled and drove in two runs to power Hampton (1-0) past Deer Lakes (0-3) in nonsection play. Chad Moore had a double and an RBI for the Talbots. Eli Misera homered and Brady Plummer and A.J. Reiher each doubled and drove in a run for Deer Lakes.

Neosho (MO) 7, Franklin Regional 6 – Wyatt Woodward hit the tying home run in the sixth and the winning run scored on a wild pitch in the seventh for Neosho (MO) in Vero Beach, Fla. Dillon Porado doubled and drove in two runs for Franklin Regional (5-1).
Norwin 4, Fox Chapel 3 – Tristyn Tavares doubled and drove a run in to lead Norwin (1-0) to a nonsection win. Caden Sivrich and Derek Berger each went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Knights. Blake Krushinski drove in two runs while Tristan Blum had an RBI for Fox Chapel (0-2).
Penn-Trafford 11, Bellevue East 6 – Zach Feldman drove in three runs and Anthony Marrow homered as Penn-Trafford (1-0) racked up 11 hits in Cocoa Beach, Fla. Bryce Ruby doubled and drove in two runs, Tanner DeStefano had a double and an RBI, Nico Casciato tripled and brought home two and Tristan Yechout doubled and drove in two for the Warriors.
Riverview 4, West Mifflin 3 – Lukas Duncan doubled and had an RBI, Jake Sprajcar had two hits and an RBI, and Ashton Saunders had a double to lead Riverview (1-0) to a nonsection win. Caden Wills had two hits and an RBI while Derek Tudek doubled for West Mifflin (1-2).

Joselyn Carter also drove in a run for the Mighty Mikes.

Mikaila Ditty homered and knocked in a pair of runs for the Vikings.
Derry 10, Burrell 0 – Haylee Myers struck out 15 in a five-inning one-hitter as Derry (1-1) shut out Burrell (0-1) in nonsection play. Alexa Darzio and Kali Henigin each homered and had two RBIs and Myers hit a home run of her own for the Trojans. Sophia Gregg singled for the Bucs’ lone hit.

Cayley Hughes homered, doubled and knocked in four runs while Paige Fiedler hit a home run among her three hits and drove in four runs for the Spartans. Chloe Confer hit a home run and finished with four RBIs and Nevaeh Hunt also homered for the Scotties.
Moon 16, Mars 0 – Katie DeMarco set the Moon all-time single-game record for strikeouts in a game by mowing down 15 en route to a six-inning no-hitter against Mars (0-1) in nonsection play. Sydney Ray, Brooklyn Hall and Danica Bacu each drove in three runs for the Tigers (1-2).

Thomas Jefferson 22, Connellsville 3 – Adalina Bracco knocked in four runs while Cam Noderer and Rylann Donohue each doubled and knocked in three runs as Thomas Jefferson (2-0, 1-0) overpowered Connellsville (1-1, 0-1) in Section 4-5A.
Uniontown 7, Ligonier Valley 6 – Juliet White homered, doubled and drove in two runs while Graci Rodeheaver and Sequoia Dunlap each plated a run as Uniontown (2-0) survived a late Ligonier Valley (0-1) rally for a nonsection win. Marlee Miller finished with three RBIs for the Rams.
Upper St. Clair 11, Jefferson County (TN) 1 – Nora Stutzman and Kiley Reber each drove in two runs and Caroline Barnard went 4 for 4 as Upper St. Clair (1-1) defeated Jefferson County in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Brooklyn Kemp picked up the win for the Panthers.

Plum 10, Seton LaSalle 9 (2OT) – Matthew Amen scored three goals, including the game winner in double overtime, to lead Plum (3-0) to a nonsection victory. Tyler Brenner and Jack Majcher had two goals apiece and James Beall, Scott Pushic and Kevin DiMatteo also scored to back Colby Burch in goal for the Mustangs.

Hempfield 16, Yough 13 – Lina Reese collected five goals and two assists, Emily Long had four goals and an assist and Maddie Domasky finished with three goals and two assists to lead Hempfield to a nonsection win. Charlotte Auckerman scored twice, Emma Billeck had goal and an assist and Ailey Helman also scored for the Spartans.
Mars 25, Peters 4 – Hailey Long, Katie Blake and Anna McGrath each had five goals to lead Mars to a nonsection win. Ella DePaoli and Tess McGrath each netted three goals, while Lucy Balazs, Lola Seidneck, Reese Polito and Alex Knowlton rounded out the scoring for the Fightin’ Planets. Dana Anderson scored three goals for Peters.
Plum 19, Seton LaSalle 7 – Carly Venanzi had two goals and six assists, Jadyn Dupal and Ella Pedley each scored three goals and Malayna Smith made six saves to lead Plum to a nonsection victory.
Boys volleyball
Latrobe 3, Derry 1 – Gabe Watson and Jayden Holnaider had six kills each, Cal Akins contributed five blocks, Jack Menhorn dished out 21 assists and Daniel Sweeney had 10 digs to lead Latrobe to a nonsection win. For Derry, Jaidan Beeman had nine kills, Caden Marsh added seven kills and John Kerin recorded 17 digs.
Montour 3, Mars 0 – Dom Lach had 10 kills, Isaiah Henderson added nine and Gaige Schoff had six to lead Montour to a nonsection win. Will Suppa had six kills for Mars.
