Gala to raise funds for Children’s Home of Pittsburgh

The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh will host its annual Shake your Booties Gala fundraiser April 18 at Pittsburgh Brewing Company, 150 Ferry St., in the Creighton section of East Deer.

A cocktail hour will begin at 5 p.m. and there will be games, an auction, an interactive experience and mystery bags. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Super bingo set for April 19 at Laube Hall

A super bingo will begin to benefit three local nonprofits will begin at 3 p.m. April 19 at Laube Hall, Freeport.

There will be $5,000 in guaranteed payouts including a $500 jackpot game, a $1,000 jackpot game, specials that pay $300 each and regular games that pay $150 each, as well as pull tabs, chuck-a-luck and a 50-50. Food and drinks will be sold. BYOB.

Proceeds will be donated to Dynamic Community Foundation, Freeport Community Park and the K9 units of Southern Armstrong Regional Police Department.
