Residents of a Springdale apartment building are being evacuated after a roof collapse Monday, authorities said.
Emergency crews are on the scene at an apartment in the 200 block of Butler Street, according to Allegheny County dispatchers.
“We’re getting them out and taking them to the borough building,” Bruno Moretti, the borough’s emergency management coordinator, said.
“We’re very early into it.”
Fire crews were called after 11 a.m. and are tending to structural damage and live wires at the scene.
No injuries were yet reported.
