Trinity 12, Upper St. Clair 2 – Ally Krenzelak went 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs and Gabby Humphreys homered for Trinity (6-0) in a nonsection win. Caroline Barnard went 3 for 3 with two doubles for Upper St. Clair (2-2).

Union 7, Moon 1 – Korynne Shannon went seven innings, striking out 11 and walking one, to lead Union (1-1) to a nonsection win. Irelyn Fisher homered and plated two runs for the Scotties. Alina McMahon doubled and drove in a run for Moon (2-3).

Uniontown 5, Belle Vernon 1 – Emmaleigh Noah went seven innings, striking out six and walking one, and also homered to lead Uniontown (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-4A win. Juliet White homered and had two RBIs for Uniontown. Bella Williams hit a home run for Belle Vernon (1-3, 0-2).

Washington 6, Serra Catholic 4 – Sophie McCort doubled and hit a home run, while Tateionna warren doubled and had an RBI to lead Washington (3-0) to a nonsection win. Kelly Morrissey struck out 12 and had a double and a home run to lead Serra Catholic (0-4).

Waynesburg 6, Woodridge 0 (OH) – Gina Tedrow threw a no-hitter and struck out 17 to lead Waynesburg Central (2-1) past Woodridge. Bria Stephenson doubled and Kolbi Rastoka doubled and drove in two runs for the Central Raiders.

Yough 14, California 2 – Jaidyn Vay struck out seven and allowed two runs as Yough (2-0) got the nonsection win. Kylee Fisher had two doubles and four RBIs while Vay doubled and had three RBIs. Avery Filby doubled and plated a run for California (0-3).

Pine-Richland 15, Penn-Trafford 12 – Mallory Boivin and Claire Mill each scored five goals, Cate Gentile added three goals and Willow Cribbs and Leyton Carlson also scored to lead Pine-Richland to a nonsection win.

Quaker Valley 18, Oakland Catholic 4 – Alexa Westwood collected four goals and five assists, Lucy Roig scored five goals and Kate Miller and Liz York added three goals each to lead Quaker Valley to a nonsection win.

California 20 , Clairton 6 – Hayley Gibson had a touchdown pass and a touchdown catch to lead California to its first victory in Section 2. Meadow Meier threw a TD pass, Lila Mitchell caught a touchdown pass and Aubrey Cellurale ran for a 40-yard score. Bella Smith had two interceptions and Lila Mitchell and Meadow Meier also picked off passes for California.
