Trib HSSN final 2026 Pennsylvania girls high school basketball rankings

Sharing the crown as top district in the PIAA girls basketball championships are District 1 and District 7.

District 1, made up of schools in suburban Philadelphia, took gold in Class 6A with Upper Dublin and Class A with Delaware County Christian.

The WPIAL also has two state champions with South Fayette in 5A and Greensburg Central Catholic in 3A.

District 12 Philadelphia Catholic and City Leagues had one state winner with Neumann-Goretti in 4A and District 5 in the Somerset area had a PIAA champion with Berlin-Brothersvalley in 2A.

Waiting until next year are girls basketball teams from Districts 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Four of Trib HSSN’s previously top-ranked teams finished the deal and won their PIAA title game to end the season at No. 1.

A pair of No. 2-ranked teams in Neumann-Goretti and Greensburg Central Catholic started the weekend second but finished with state gold and a No. 1 ranking to end the season.

Here is the final Top 5 in each of the six classifications for 2025-2026. Teams are listed with overall record, district and last week’s ranking.
