Emily Bozek tripled and knocked in two runs and Lauren Howard had a triple and an RBI for the Spartans (3-1, 1-0). Lean Carlson had a base hit for the Tigers (0-2, 0-1).
Allderdice 15, Obama Academy 5 – Bella Galagher went 4 for 4 with a triple and five RBIs and Lital Friedman singled, doubled and drove in three to lead Allderdice (2-0, 2-0) to a City League win. Mia Quarles singled, homered and drove in three for Obama Academy (0-1, 0-1).
Beaver 12, Central Valley 8 – Abby Hojdila doubled and drove in four runs and Cali Coups knocked in two runs and doubled twice to lead Beaver (2-1, 2-0) to a Section 3-4A win. London Banks homered and knocked in three runs and Lexie Friel went 3 for 5 with an RBI for Central Valley (0-4, 0-2). Olivia Peabody picked up the win for the Bobcats.
Belle Vernon 12, Southmoreland 6 – Kaylee Sypolt went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBIs, Bella Williams doubled twice and knocked in a run and Ava Jones had a double and an RBI as Belle Vernon (2-3) doubled up Southmoreland (1-3) in nonsection play. Isabella Grabiak went 3 for 4 with five RBIs for the Scotties.
Bethel Park 12, Atlantic Collegiate Academy 11 – Sia Spano doubled and knocked in four runs, Courtney Roberts homered and had an RBI and Ellery Stipp doubled and drove in a run as Bethel Park (2-2) survived a late rally to beat Atlantic Collegiate Academy in Myrtle Beach. Alora Blackman tripled twice and drove in four runs for the Armada.
Blackhawk 6, Hampton 3 – Addy Ramer homered and knocked in three runs, Morgan Alexander plated a run and Eva Parris doubled as Blackhawk (2-0, 2-0) defeated Hampton (1-2, 1-2) in Section 3-4A. Cara Ibinson went 2 for 3 with an RBI for the Talbots. Winning pitcher Kylie Prisuta struck out 11 in a complete game for the Cougars.
Burrell 13, Valley 7 – Shelby Novak went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double and three RBIs and Cayla Brothers collected three hits and drove in two as Burrell (2-2) defeated Valley (1-3) in nonsection play. Summer Machen homered, doubled and knocked in three for the Vikings.
Carlynton 18, Northgate 7 – Sarah Loney went 3 for 4 with a double and five RBIs, Carlee Hughes, Danica DeCecco and Ava Kimberling each singled, doubled and drove in two, and Abbey Tomaszewski had two hits and two RBIs as Carlynton (2-1) defeated Northgate (0-2) in nonsection play.
Connellsville 23, Greensburg Salem 8 – Cali Leichliter homered, doubled twice and finished with six RBIs, Molly Greenwalt homered and had three RBIs and Kalyn Cole smacked a home run and drove in two as Connellsville (4-1) rolled to a nonsection win. Cate Waugaman knocked in three runs and Hannah Olbeter drove in two for Greensburg Salem (1-1).
Eastlake North (OH) 6, West Greene 3 – Maddy Ferrari singled, tripled and drove in a run and winning pitcher Violet Dechazy struck out seven for Eastlake North in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Emmaline Beazell singled, doubled and plated a pair for West Greene (1-1).
Elizabeth Forward 15, Oakland Catholic 3 – Samantha Malek and Mia Curinga homered and drove in two runs and Sophie Pasinsky went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI to lead Elizabeth Forward (3-2, 2-0) to a Section 2-4A win. Nina Hillard singled, doubled and drove in two runs for Oakland Catholic (0-2, 0-2).
Fox Chapel 15, Penn Hills 0 – Winning pitcher Jillian Haigh struck out 10 and walked one in a four-inning no-hitter as Fox Chapel (4-1, 2-1) defeated Penn Hills (0-4, 0-3) in Section 1-5A. Haigh went 2 for 2 at the plate with a triple and three RBIs, Ella Eisner drove in three and Ava Walmsley and Annabel Berkowitz each knocked in two for the Foxes.
Franklin Regional 10, McKeesport 0 – Ava Rhoten homered, tripled and drove in three and Maddie Hill doubled twice and had a pair of RBIs while Celina Camacho and Bella Salas each knocked in a run for Franklin Regional (1-6, 1-1) in a Section 2-5A win. Ryenn Thomas tripled for McKeesport (1-2, 0-2). Salas and Mia Martz combined for nine strikeouts and gave up two hits in a shutout for the Panthers.

Alyssa Perona doubled and drove in three runs while Dakota Rainey knocked in two for the Cavaliers. Sienna Boden and Brianna Banner each had two hits for Gateway (1-2, 0-2).
Knoch 7, Freeport 0 – Emersyn Jones struck out 11 in a complete-game shutout while also doing damage at the plate, going 3 for 4 with a pair of home runs, a double and three RBIs to power Knoch (2-2, 2-1) to a Section 1-4A win over Freeport (0-2, 0-2). Marlee Fraser and McKenna Jones each drove in a run for the Knights.

Samantha Melius doubled and knocked in two runs for the Raiders.

Cam Ullom knocked in three runs and Bryce Wright doubled and had an RBI for the Eagles. Dylan Hughes had the only hit for West Greene (0-4, 0-2).

Greensburg Central Catholic 8, Jefferson-Morgan 2 – Tyler Samide hit a three-run homer and doubled twice to lead Greensburg Central Catholic (2-0, 2-0) to a Section 1-A win. Winning pitcher Alex Martin struck out 11 in 5 2/3 innings and Stephen Kochis singled, doubled and picked up the save. Jaymison Robinson had two hits and an RBI for Jefferson-Morgan (0-5, 0-2).

Seton LaSalle 5, Keystone Oaks 0; Seton LaSalle 16, Keystone Oaks 1 – In Game 1 of a doubleheader, Mike Cejrowski fanned nine in four innings, Connor Rothhaar tripled twice and had two RBIs and Ryan Kerr collected two hits and a pair of RBIs as Seton LaSalle blanked Keystone Oaks in Section 4-3A. Shane Falcone went 2 for 4 for the Golden Eagles. In Game 2, Reggie Lonero doubled twice and had five RBIs, Aaron Smith doubled and knocked in four runs and Anthony LoCastro got the win as the Rebels (2-1, 2-0) rolled past the Golden Eagles (0-3, 0-2).
Shenango 16, Aliquippa 0 – Jack Kielar went 2 for 2 with a double and five RBIs and Dom Dando and Nate Deem each went 2 for 2 with a double and two RBIs to lead Shenango (4-0) past Aliquippa (0-2, 0-2) in Section 2-2A. Holdin Anterock threw a three-inning two-hit shutout.
South Allegheny 8, Gateway 6 – Liam Fonner and Dillion Pomocki each doubled and drove in a run while Koltin Keener picked up the win as South Allegheny (2-2) edged out Gateway (2-2) in nonsection play. Donovan DeLuco tripled and had two RBIs and Grady Dunsmore doubled and plated a run for the Gators.
Steel Valley 13, OLSH 7 – Garrett Cherpak went 3 for 3 with a double and four RBIs, Immanuel Owens tripled and knocked in three and Connor McNutt doubled and plated three runs as Steel Valley (1-1) picked up a nonsection win. Wyatt Walsh tripled and drove in two runs and Ryan DeNinno doubled and had two RBIs for OLSH (2-3).
Thomas Jefferson 12, Moon 11 – Justin Fry doubled and drove in four runs and Eli Graff had three hits and an RBI to lead Thomas Jefferson (3-2) to a nonsection win. Andrew Cross went 3 for 5 with a double, homer and three RBIs and Nick Machusko singled, homered and plated three for Moon (4-2), which saw a five-run seventh-inning rally fall just short.
Trinity 13, Chartiers Valley 0 – Derek Falvo homered, doubled and finished with five RBIs, winning pitcher Karson Hathaway homered and had an RBI, Jonah Williamson doubled and knocked in three and Jase Hartley tripled and plated a run as Trinity (1-5, 1-1) blanked Chartiers Valley (1-2, 1-1) in Section 2-5A.
Washington 10, Monessen 1 – Noah Patton had two hits and two RBIs, Tristan Coney doubled and plated a pair and Bronx Partozoti had a double and an RBI to lead Washington (3-2) to a nonsection win. Nate Speicher had two hits and an RBI for Monessen (0-3).
West Allegheny 9, Riverside 8 – Zac Lucas singled, homered and drove in three runs and Kingston Henke singled and doubled to lead West Allegheny (2-3) in a nonsection slugfest. Dylan Meyer had two hits and two RBIs for Riverside (1-3), which saw a five-run seventh-inning rally come up just short.
Western Beaver 8, Rochester 1 – Winning pitcher Christain Stefankis struck out seven in three hitless innings while Vinny Ross, August Lichtner and Brendon Fortner each knocked in a run to lead Western Beaver (1-0, 1-0) to a Section 2-A win. Andrew Miller went 2 for 3 with a double for Rochester (0-3, 0-1).

Plum 13, Knoch 12 – Matthew Amen scored four goals, James Beall and Jack Majcher each netted three, and Shane Jenkins, Kevin DiMatteo and Tyler Brenner also scored to lift Plum (4-1) to a nonsection win.

Mars 23, Sewickley Academy 1 – Hailey Long scored five goals and Katie Blake and Tess McGrath had three each for Mars in a Section 2-2A win. Lucy Balazs, Jenna Smith, Alexa Knowlton and Anna McGrath had two goals apiece.
North Catholic 13, Seton LaSalle 9 – Kate Geary scored four goals, Sammy Brennen added three and Chloe Lundy had two for North Catholic in a nonsection win. Elizabeth Long, Izzy Kurpellis, Olivia St. John and Mia Grasser also scored in the win.
Pine-Richland 15, Fox Chapel 7 – Mallory Boivin and Cate Gentile each had five goals and two assists and Claire Mill added three goals and three assists to lead Pine-Richland to a Section 2-3A win. Lily Meehleib and Leyton Carlson also scored and Cara Murray made 15 saves.

Derry 3, Steel Valley 0 – Jaidan Beeman had 10 kills, John Kerin finished with 25 digs and Landon Campbell dished out 30 assists to lead Derry to a Section 2-2A win. Caden Marsh and William Stockett-Harter each added six kills for the Trojans.
Flag football
Plum 34, Woodland Hills 13 – Kaiden Young threw for 170 yards and three touchdowns and Tamia West made seven catches for 101 yards and two scores as Plum won in Section 3 to stay unbeaten at 4-0. Caydence Morgan had a TD catch, Isla Filo a touchdown run and Brooke Dugas a pick-six in the win.
Propel Braddock Hills 25, Penn Hills 21 – Cadence Patrick scored twice, including a 66-yard run, and Ahmenique Smith scored a 79-yard touchdown to lead Propel Braddock Hills to a Section 3 victory. Jennifer White had a TD catch and Mi’Aira Johnson threw two touchdown passes in the win. For Penn Hills, Saniya Horsley had three touchdown catches, two from Trinity Fielder and one from Jordin Stubbs.
