INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 0-2) dropped a 9-7 decision to St. Paul (Twins). SS Konnor Griffin (.500) was 2 for 3 with an RBI and reached base four times. He had two singles, two walks, a strikeout and scored a run. CF Dominic Fletcher (.375) launched the Indians’ first home run of the season and went 3 for 5. 3B Alika Williams (.750) was 3 for 4 with two extra-base hits and two RBIs. LF Ronny Simon (.667) was 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs. 2B Termarr Johnson (.125) doubled. DH Esmerlyn Valdez (.250) was 2 for 5 with two runs scored. RHP Nick Dombkowski (11.25) started and allowed five runs and seven hits with four strikeouts in four innings. RHP Brandan Bidois (0-1, 13.50) took the loss after allowing two runs on two hits in 1 1/3 innings of relief.
