Bowling fundraiser to benefit Kiski Valley Cat and Kitten Rescue

Wildlife Lanes in Lower Burrell will host its third annual Pins for Paws bowling fundraiser to benefit Kiski Valley Cat and Kitten Rescue April 12 at the lanes, 1000 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and bowling will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $20 and includes bowling and shoe rental. There will be music, a basket raffle, bake sale and a 50-50. Food and drinks will be sold.

Nonprofit will host annual inclusive open-mic night

Band Together Pittsburgh, a nonprofit that provides music-related programming and opportunities for people on the autism spectrum, will host its third annual free open mic night at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the cafeteria of Franklin Regional Senior High School, 3200 School Road, Murrysville.

The event is an all-inclusive open mic. A sound system, drums, keyboard and microphone will be provided and free pizza, drinks and dessert will be served. Students from any school district are welcome.
