Avonworth 9, Steel Valley 0 – Cooper Scharding struck out 12 and doubled to lead Avonworth (3-3) to a nonsection win. Patrick Bykowski (three RBIs) and Will Fowler (RBI) each doubled for the Antelopes. Daevon Gaynor and Landon Hurd doubled for Steel Valley (2-1).

Bethel Park 10, Trinity 0 – Eric Miehl had three hits with a double and two RBIs and Mike Bruckner doubled and plated a pair to lead Bethel Park (6-0, 3-0) to a Section 2-5A win over Trinity (2-5, 1-2). Matthew Hughes and Tyler Stewart combined on the shutout. Hughes threw four no-hit innings with four strikeouts.

Gateway 2, McKeesport 1 – Grady Dunsmore hit a one-out, game-tying home run in the bottom of the seventh and Harris Otterman smacked a walk-off RBI single in the ninth to lift Gateway (3-2, 1-0) past McKeesport (1-4, 0-1) in Section 4-5A. Nico Price doubled in a run for the Tigers. Joseph Pachete got the win for the Gators.

Indiana 11, Highlands 2 – Ethan Shank homered, doubled and had two RBIs while winning pitcher Sullivan Vanhoose and Brady Oakes each doubled and drove in a pair of runs as Indiana (2-0, 1-0) dominated Highlands (0-6, 0-1) in Section 3-4A.

Mt. Lebanon 7, North Allegheny 6 – Lily Dwyer hit a walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth for Mt. Lebanon (1-3, 1-2) in a Section 1-6A win. Erin Fadgen hit a home run and Zoe Rychel hit three doubles for North Allegheny (0-3, 0-2).

Mt. Pleasant 8, Burrell 2 – Winning pitcher Dani Trainer went 3 for 5 with three RBIs to lead Mt. Pleasant (2-1, 1-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Cayla Brothers and Leah Waldsmith doubled for Burrell (2-3, 0-1).

New Castle 21, Mars 7 – Zoe Shields (six RBIs) and Mikayla DiGennaro (five RBIs) each homered and drove in a combined 11 runs to lead New Castle (6-1, 3-1) to a Section 1-5A win. Aliyah Stalczynski doubled and plated three runs for the Red Hurricanes. Sophia Soltis hit a home run for Mars (1-4, 1-3).

North Catholic 11, Hopewell 3 – Clare Kotwica homered and plated three runs while Julianna Lehman and Addy Gray both doubled and drove in two runs to lead North Catholic (2-1) to a nonsection win. Allison Ramaley and Gianna Rossi both had two hits and one RBI for Hopewell (0-2).

Norwin 8, Pine-Richland 5 – ​​​​​​​​ ​Madelyn Kugler hit a game-tying three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning and Miley Harrison hit a go-ahead RBI single to key a four-run eighth as Norwin came back to defeat Pine-Richland in Section 1-6A. Diem Wardzinski also homered for the Knights (2-2, 2-1). Norah Cherry and Sydney Bezila hit home runs for the Rams (2-3, 1-2).

Sewickley Academy 10, Bishop Canevin 0 – Charlotte Andrews threw a five-inning no-hitter and struck out 15 for Sewickley Academy (1-0, 1-0) in a Section 1-A win over Bishop Canevin (0-3, 0-2). Sophie Crichton went 3 for 3 with a double and four RBIs and Sanaa Grant had a double, home run and four RBIs for the Panthers.

Shaler 17, Penn Hills 0 – Giada Colamarino went 2 for 2 with a home run and four RBIs and Addy Aleski hit two doubles for Shaler (5-1, 3-0) in a Section 1-5A win. Addison Helsel singled for Penn Hills (0-4, 0-3). Winning pitcher London Taylor struck out nine and allowed one hit in three innings for the Titans.

Shenango 14, New Brighton 2 – Kennedi Lynn struck out eight and allowed one run across five innings as Shenango (5-0, 1-0) got the Section 1-2A win. Brianna Aluisa homered and drove in four runs, while Jaylyn Herman doubled and had two RBIs for the Wildcats. Elise Gerrich singled and plated a run for New Brighton (2-3, 0-3).

South Fayette 13, Chartiers Valley 3 – Cam Valentino had a triple, home run and three RBIs and Kendall Welhorsky tripled for South Fayette (2-4, 1-1) in a Section 3-5A win. Lily Duffill and Ava Dunlap hit a double apiece for Chartiers Valley (1-2, 1-1).

Steel Valley 1, East Allegheny 0 – Brooke Grimm struck out 13 across seven scoreless innings to lead Steel Valley (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-3A win. Anna Wehrer singled for the Ironmen. Mercedes Benz and Ameria Simmons each went 2 for 2 for East Allegheny (1-3, 0-1).

Trinity 14, Peters Township 5 – Alexa Zawacki had two home runs and four RBIs, Elora Friend hit a double and triple and Charlotte Hinkler hit two doubles to lead Trinity (7-1, 2-1) to a Section 4-5A win. Laney Mountain went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs for Peters Township (2-4, 1-2).

Washington 12, California 2 – Faith Partozoti tripled and plated two runs while Aniya Glendenning doubled and had two RBIs to lead Washington (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 4-2A win. Bailee Cuthbertson doubled and had two RBIs for California (0-4, 0-1).

West Allegheny 7, Moon 0 – Irena Santoro threw a three-hit shutout and tripled to lead West Allegheny (3-0, 1-0) to a Section 3-5A win over Moon (3-4, 1-1). Marissa Palaima went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs for West A.

West Greene 11, Beth-Center 1 – Kendra Tharp doubled, homered and plated two runs while Josie Mason singled and had three RBIs to lead West Greene (3-2, 1-0) to a Section 2-A win over Beth-Center (0-2, 0-1). Katie Brudnock doubled and had an RBI for the Pioneers.

West Mifflin 11, Ringgold 0 – Rylie Dobnak struck out seven across five scoreless innings to lead West Mifflin (7-0. 3-0) to a Section 2-4A win. She also doubled and plated three runs, while Abby Jakubovic doubled and tripled with two RBIs for the Titans. Jules Campa went 2 for 2 for Ringgold (0-3, 0-3).

Western Beaver 16, Liberty (WV) 0 – Elizabeth Squicquero doubled, homered and drove in four runs, Cadence Verba went 3 for 3 with a triple and three RBIs, Rylee Hall went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs and Alana Covalt threw three one-hit innings with six strikeouts for Western Beaver (1-2 ) in Myrtle Beach.

Pine-Richland 21, Butler 2 – Claire Mill collected seven goals and three assists, Cate Gentile had six goals and an assist and Mallory Boivin added five goals and an assist in a Section 2-3A win for Pine-Richland.

Derry 3, Martinsburg Central 1 – Caden Marsh and Jaiden Beeman had 15 kills apiece to lead Derry to a nonsection win. Landon Campbell dished out 40 assists, John Kerin had 31 digs and Jaxon Hayes and William Stockett-Harter each added eight kills for the Trojans.
