North Catholic 33 , Pine-Richland 6 – Lizzie Fabian scored four touchdowns, Katie Miller added a rushing touchdown and Riley Marsico, Sarah Shay and Fabian intercepted passes to lead North Catholic to a Section 1 win.
Plum 25, Oakland Catholic 12 – Tamia West had eight catches for 71 yards and two touchdowns and scored on an interception return as Plum (5-0) stayed undefeated with a Section 3 win. Kaiden Young threw for 152 yards and three scores, Hannah Woltjen added a touchdown and Brooke Dugas and Taylie Auth made six flag tackles for the Mustangs.
Woodland Hills 26, Penn Hills 14 – Ahmya Stubbs had a receiving touchdown and an interception return for a touchdown and Alaina Jackson-Carrington and Demi Conner also had pick-sixes to lead Woodland Hills to a Section 3 victory. Jordin Stubbs threw two touchdown passes, Saniya Horsley made nine catches, including one for a touchdown, and Aniyah Hickman also had a TD grab for Penn Hills.
Boys volleyball
Norwin 3, Franklin Regional 1 – Wyatt Painter had 16 kills, Johnny Almeida handed out 29 assists and Lucas Giebel finished with 15 digs to lead Norwin to a Section 3-3A win.
Penn-Trafford 3, Armstrong 1 – Ethan McDonald recorded 19 kills, Matthew Eguajoe added 14 kills and three blocks and Brayden Tirpak finished with eight kills and six blocks to lead Penn-Trafford to a Section 3-3A win. Billy Spena dished out 36 assists.
