Members of the Penn Hills Youth Auxiliary rolled up their sleeves on March 21 for the annual Spring Adopt-a-Highway Cleanup.

The auxiliary is part of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.’s Gamma Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter in Penn Hills. The young leaders took to the streets to clear litter and refresh community spaces, demonstrating a commitment to environmental stewardship and civic pride.

This hands-on service project is a vital part of the sorority’s mission to foster leadership and responsibility within the next generation. By taking ownership of their surroundings, auxiliary members are not only beautifying Penn Hills but also setting a powerful example of what it means to serve with purpose.
