RF Esmerlyn Valdez (.267) went 1 for 3 with a double. 3B Tyler Callihan (.200) went 1 for 4. The rest of the team went 0 for 20. C Endy Rodriguez (.125) went 0 for 4 with an RBI groundout and three strikeouts. RHP Wilber Dotel (0-1, 6.23) started and gave up three runs on four hits in 4⅓ innings. He struck out four and walked two. RHP Mike Clevinger (3.86) pitched 1⅔ scoreless innings and RHP Michael Darrell-Hicks (0.00) worked a scoreless eighth.
