Fans planning to attend the NFL Draft on Pittsburgh’s North Shore at the end of April can take part in a wide range of free activities designed to create an immersive football festival atmosphere.
The “NFL Draft Experience” will span the North Shore and Point State Park, offering fans an interactive playground that blends football, entertainment and local culture.
Nicki Ewell, vice president of global events for the NFL, said the draft is not only a celebration of the 2026-27 football season but also a celebration of Pittsburgh.
A fan map will be published in another week or so, according to Ewell, so fans will be able to map out their days and figure out which sites they want to go to first.
Activities in the NFL Draft Experience will include:
- On-field activities like the 40-yard dash
- Attempting a field goal on theAcrisure Stadium Field
- Youth clinics and NFL FLAG programming
- Youth-focused Play 60 Zone
- Meet current players and legends
- Take photos with the Steelers six Vince Lombardi Trophies and all 59 Super Bowl rings
- Shop exclusive merchandise at NFL Shop
- The Autograph Stage
All activities are free and can be accessed through the NFL OnePass app. Reservations are not available in advance, so fans should expect to wait in line for each experience, Ewell said.
“We try to move you through as quickly as possible,” she said. “The same production company behind our Super Bowl experiences handles operations for the draft.
“Our goal is to keep lines moving so fans aren’t spending their day waiting, but instead enjoying the atmosphere, connecting with others and getting through experiences efficiently.”
Fans can register for the experience via the NFL OnePass app or at NFL.com/DraftAccess.
