RHP Noah Davis (3.72) started and pitched 4 ⅔ scoreless, no-hit innings, striking out three and walking four. RHP Carson Fulmer (9.00) and RHP Justin Meis (11.25) each gave up four runs. C Endy Rodriguez (.158) went 1 for 4 with a two-run homer, his first, and two sacrifice flies. DH Ronny Simon (.357) went 2 for 5 with a double and three RBIs. 3B Tyler Callihan (.286) went 2 for 3 with a walk and a run scored. SS Alika Williams (.600) went 1 for 4 with a walk, run scored and RBI.

LHP Anthony Solometo (0-1, 27.00) came on in the sixth and allowed three runs on two hits and two walks to take the loss. 2B Keiner Delgado (.000) went 0 for 1 with four walks and three stolen bases. CF Mitch Jebb (.333) went 1 for 3 with two walks, a run scored and a stolen base. 3B Duce Gourson (.333) and DH Totus Dumitru each went 1 for 3 with an RBI.

GREENSBORO (High-A, 1-0) scored five times in the top of the 11th to beat Greenville (Red Sox), 9-5. 3B Jhonny Severino hit the go-ahead two-run single and DH Tony Blanco Jr. tacked on a three-run double. Severino (.600) went 3 for 5 with a stolen base and two runs scored. Blanco (.333) went 2 for 6. 2B Yordany De Los Santos (.400) went 2 for 5 with a home run, walk, two stolen bases, two runs scored and three RBIs. RHP Carlos Castillo (0.00) started and went five innings, allowing no runs on four hits with four strikeouts and one walk. LHP Victor Cabreja (5.40) allowed three runs, two earned, in 3 ⅓ innings. RHP Alexis Torres (1-0, 0.00) allowed only the automatic runner to score in the 10th to pick up the win.
