Tarentum Recreation Board is going to sponsor an Independence Day parade at 10 a.m. July 4 that will run through Brackenridge and Tarentum.

Bingo fundraiser to aid three fire departments
A bingo to benefit the Oklahoma and Vandergrift No. 1 and No. 2 volunteer fire departments will be May 2 at the Oklahoma firehall, 171 Thorn St.
Doors open at 5 p.m. and games will start at 7 p.m. The $30 ticket includes 15 on regular games, one book of six specials, early bird and jackpot games; and a $15 package includes six on regular games, one book of six specials, early bird and jackpot games.
