Jordyn Tyson

Tyson was leading the Big 12 in receptions last fall when hamstring injuries interrupted the Preseason All-American’s season.
In nine games, Tyson finished with 61 catches for 711 yards and eight touchdowns. A year earlier, his season was cut short by a broken collarbone, and his freshman year at Colorado ended with a major knee injury. But when healthy, Tyson is considered a versatile receiver, highly competitive and a smooth route-runner.
In 2024, Tyson had 1,101 yards and 10 touchdowns on 75 receptions prior to the fractured clavicle. Draft analysts credit Sun Devils assistant coach and former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Hines Ward for helping to unlock Tyson’s pro potential.
The 21-year-old spent three seasons at Arizona State after playing his freshman year at Colorado.
Draft analyst Lance Zierlein noted in his NFL.com bio that Tyson “added size and improved his route running over the last two years, showing he can align at all three receiver spots.” Zierlein added that Tyson is “not a blazer,” but said he is fast enough to work downfield.
