The Pittsburgh Riverhounds scored a dramatic goal in second-half stoppage time to pull out a 1-1 draw on the road against Indy Eleven on Saturday night.

Trailing 1-0, the Hounds threw everything they could at Indy’s Eric Dick, the goalkeeper for Pittsburgh’s championship team a season ago.

In the 91st minute, Charles Ahl ripped a shot from the right side of the penalty area, and as Riverhounds midfielder Danny Griffin fell on top of Dick, Eliot Goldthorp cashed in the rebound to make it 1-1.

Minutes earlier, Dick turned a back an Albert Dikwa half-volley from near the penalty spot to maintain Indy’s lead.

The Riverhounds (2-1-1) are 3-0-1 in their last four games in all competitions.

Indy (1-1-2) took a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute when Jack Blake converted a penalty after Ahl was called for a handball in the area.

The Riverhounds will next face Birmingham Legion FC in a road game at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 12.
