Pa. Young Ambassadors program accepting applications

PennDOT and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful are accepting applications from students in 10th through 12th grade to be members of the Young Ambassadors of Pennsylvania program.

Applicants should be passionate about the environment and committed to restoring and protecting the state’s ecological landscape through volunteerism and leadership.

Lower Burrell to host free business‑startup workshop

A free workshop offering advice about how to open a new business in Lower Burrell will be at 6:30 p.m. April 16 at Fisher Hall, 201 Delberta Road in Lower Burrell.
