America dispensed with the king 250 years ago, and that is what we should proudly be celebrating and having parades about, not demonstrating about the successes of Donald Trump.
I would encourage the demonstrators flying communist, Hezbollah, Iranian and Venezuelan flags to leave America for their flag-touting locations and see how far they can protest anything there without getting jailed or shot.
The irresponsible and untrue “sky is falling” fearmongering by an unhinged Democratic senator that people would be shot at the airport was outrageous comedy. Some knuckleheads might actually believe such garbage.
The folks who deserve demonstrations are the do-nothing senators and representatives who have caused two government shutdowns in the last six months and then ran out of town. If there was ever an argument for term limits, their inaction and lack of concern for American security and government workers is demonstration-worthy. It’s party politics over American security. Sen. John Fetterman has emerged as the only Democratic senator who puts America first.
It should be outlawed for Congress to leave D.C. any time the government is shut down, and they should not be paid during any shutdown. There should be fines against their salary for every day there is no timely budget passed and the government is shut down. They should also not receive any more privileges or health benefits than any U.S. citizen.
Getting the illegal criminals out saves American lives and prevents future crime. A recent suggestion I saw said ICE should add “National” in front of its name; instead of ICE it would become “NICE.”
