Colten Wetzel went 4 for 4 with a double and two RBIs, Evan Francis had two hits and four RBIs and Carter Mason singled, doubled and plated a pair for the Bridgers.
Armstrong 5, Penn Hills 1 – Anderson Fabian struck out 13 in 5⅓ innings to lead Armstrong (1-7, 1-4) to a Section 1-5A win. Liam Badac had two doubles and an RBI, Kaden Rupp doubled and knocked a run in and Caden Andryka had two hits and an RBI for the River Hawks. Darrin Ehman doubled for Penn Hills (0-5, 0-4).
Avella 11, Jefferson-Morgan 8 – Bryce Wright doubled and had two RBIs while Luca Davis had two hits and three RBIs to lead Avella (7-1, 5-0) to a Section 1-A win. Noah Kimberland doubled for the Eagles. Drew Adams singled and plated three runs for Jefferson-Morgan (1-7, 1-4).
Avonworth 15, South Allegheny 5 – Jack Dolan doubled and had three RBIs, Patrick Bykowski doubled and had two RBIs and Cooper Scharding went 2 for 4 with two RBIs as Avonworth (5-4, 3-0) got the Section 2-3A win. Owen Werner doubled and had two RBIs while Caleb Jackowski doubled and drove in a run for South Allegheny (4-4, 1-2).
Baldwin 12, McKeesport 0 – Hudson McKain threw a five-inning, three-hit shutout with eight strikeouts and Alan Robinson homered and had two RBIs as McKeesport (4-2, 2-1) got the Section 4-5A win. Devin Staziano singled and had two RBIs for the Highlanders. Justin Barber went 2 for 3 for McKeesport (1-6, 0-3).
Beaver 6, Central Valley 4 – Eli Maze went 3 for 3, Junior Marino doubled and Joshua Derringer singled and had three RBIs to lead Beaver (5-3, 3-2) past Central Valley (1-5, 0-3) to a Section 1-4A win.
Belle Vernon 16, Laurel Highlands 6 – Connor Berman went 3 for 3 with a double and six RBIs to lead Belle Vernon (6-2, 4-1) to a Section 2-4A win. Nate Kostelnik (two RBIs) and Zack Plymire (RBI) each doubled for the Leopards. Ramaree Morgan homered and drove in four runs for Laurel Highlands (1-6, 0-3).
California 9, Beth-Center 1 – Logan Hartley struck out 11 and singled to lead California (5-2, 3-0) to a Section 1-2A win. Eli Carpenter doubled and had three RBIs for the Trojans. Brody Bebout and Ashten Pinkney both doubled for Beth-Center (0-5, 0-5).
Central Catholic 14, North Hills 0 – Landon Green had two doubles and a triple with four RBIs to lead Central Catholic (5-0) to a nonsection win. Reece Hankinson tripled and drove in a run while CJ Proch doubled and had three RBIs for the Vikings. Sean Good doubled for North Hills (2-7).
Chartiers Valley 8, Peters Township 2 – Owen Weigraff tripled and drove in a run, Jackson Schultz singled and had three RBIs and Jared Pryor went 2 for 3 with two RBIs as Chartiers Valley (3-4, 2-3) got the Section 2-5A win over Peters Township (3-4, 1-2).
Eden Christian 12, Bishop Canevin 2 – Brady Hull had two home runs and five RBIs to lead Eden Christian (4-3, 3-0) to a Section 3-A win. Levi DeFazio also had a home run while Josh Tilden doubled and had three RBIs for Eden Christian. Jackson Maddix went 2 for 3 with two RBIs for Bishop Canevin (3-5, 3-2).
Ellwood City 19, Sto-Rox 0 – Cameron Mills struck out eight in three innings of work to lead Ellwood City (6-1, 2-1) to a shutout over Sto-Rox (0-4, 0-2) in Section 1-3A. Jake Biskup and Jordan Keller each had two RBIs for the Wolverines.

Emma Hays went 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs for the Eagles. Ariahna and Jada Sheppick doubled for Charleroi (2-4, 1-2).

Pine-Richland 21, Shaler 6 – Cate Gentille had seven goals and five assists and Claire Mille collected six goals and six assists to lead Pine-Richland to a Section 2-3A win. Mallory Boivin added six goals and an assist, Leyton Carlson finished with two goals and an assist, Sophia Herndon also scored and Cara Murray made six saves for the Rams.
Flag football
Penn Hills 33, Jeannette 20 – Jordin Stubbs threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns, Aujanaye Anderson had 86 receiving yards, two TD grabs and a pick-six, and Penn Hills scored the last 20 points in a Section 3 win. Sky-Shay Freeman picked up 75 yards and a touchdown rushing and a 66-yard TD catch for Penn Hills. Navarah Smith scored two touchdowns for Jeannette.
Uniontown 20, Brentwood 0 – Lyric McLee threw for 85 yards and a touchdown to Aierra Jenkins, who made four catches for 65 yards, to lead Uniontown to a Section 2 win. Lannie Uluiakeba and Aubree Long each returned interceptions for scores for the Red Raiders.

Derry 3, Deer Lakes 1 – Caden Marsh had 11 kills and Jaiden Beeman finished with 10 kills to lead Derry to a Section 2-2A win. Landon Campbell dished out 27 assists and John Kerin recorded 36 digs for the Trojans.
Montour 3, Ambridge 0 – Chris Burik had nine kills and three blocks, Gaige Schoff added eight kills, Dom Lach served up three aces and Noah Dawson recorded four blocks to lead Montour to a Section 4-2A win.
Norwin 3, Penn-Trafford 1 – Ian Cristina had 18 kills, Christian Reiter served up five aces and Johnny Almedia handed out 32 assists to lead Norwin to a Section 3-3A win. Owen Hodge had 10 kills, Brayden Tirpak eight kills and Billy Spena 35 assists and five digs for Penn-Trafford.
