Indiana 14, Greensburg Salem 4 – Samantha Martin went 4 for 4 with a double and two RBIs and Daelyn Bish went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBIs to lead Indiana (6-2, 5-0) to a Section 1-4A win. Alle Scarpa doubled and drove in a run for Greensburg Salem (2-3, 2-2).

Jeannette 9, Monessen 6 – Grace Stein went 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs, Abigail Shaw had two doubles and an RBI and Josie Shaw drove in two runs to lead Jeannette (5-1, 3-0) to a Section 3-A win. Grace Clingenpeel and Mya Kelly doubled and drove in a run apiece for Monessen (1-6, 1-3).

Keystone Oaks 17, Steel Valley 2 – Sophie Garretson went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, Kylie Stahl went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs and Kennadi Smith had two doubles and two RBIs to lead Keystone Oaks (6-2, 3-1) to a Section 3-3A win. Brooke Grimm singled and drove in two runs for Steel Valley (2-4, 1-4).

Kiski Area 11, Gateway 0 – Aubrey West struck out seven in five innings, Kyla Hutcherson tripled, homered and drove in three runs and Kyleigh Rainey also had three RBIs for Kiski Area (7-2, 4-2) in a Section 2-5A win over Gateway (2-5, 1-5).

Knoch 10, Freeport 0 – Emersyn Jones went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Alena Tekely homered and drove in two runs and Lindsay Wise had a single and two RBIs to lead Knoch (4-3, 4-2) past Freeport (2-3, 2-3) in a Section 1-4A win. Winning pitcher Marlee Fraser struck out seven.

Laurel 20, New Brighton 1 – Hailey Fell went 3 for 4 with a triple, home run and six RBIs and Lizzy Pascoe homered and drove in four runs to lead Laurel (3-1, 3-1) to a Section 1-2A win over New Brighton (1-5, 0-5).

Laurel Highlands 3, Ringgold 2 – Chloe Komacko went 2 for 3 with an RBI and Harlie Dirda singled and drove in a run to lead Laurel Highlands (4-2, 4-2) to a Section 2-4A win. Jules Campa doubled and drove in a run for Ringgold (0-6, 0-5).

Montour 10, Moon 3 – Paige Fiedler went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs and Hailey Staub hit a home run for Montour (6-1, 4-0) in a Section 3-5A win. Abbie Warnagiris singled and drove in two runs for Moon (4-5, 2-2).

Mt. Pleasant 7, Southmoreland 0 – Dani Trainer threw a complete-game one-hitter and struck out 18 to lead Mt. Pleasant (6-1, 4-0) to a Section 1-3A win. Payton Shroyer singled for Southmoreland (1-8, 0-5). Emma Miller doubled and drove in two runs for the Vikings.

New Castle 19, Penn Hills 1 – Gabby Mangieri had three doubles and two RBIs and Angelina Jay and Mikayla Young went 2 for 2 with three RBIs apiece to lead New Castle (7-3, 4-3) to a Section 1-5A win. Samantha Boyd tripled and drove in a run for Penn Hills (0-7, 0-6).

North Catholic 6, Beaver 3 – Kennedy Brown struck out 15 and allowed four hits in a complete game and went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBIs to lead North Catholic (3-1, 2-0) to a Section 3-4A win. Jaedyn Brown doubled and drove in a run for Beaver (3-4, 2-1).

Norwin 15, North Allegheny 8 – Diem Wardzinski went 3 for 4 with a double, home run and four RBIs, Addison Grimes went 3 for 4 with a double and four RBIs and Emma Gibson went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs to lead Norwin (3-2, 3-1) to a Section 1-6A win. Zoe Rychel went 4 for 5 with a double and two RBIs for North Allegheny (1-5, 1-4).

Penn-Trafford 8, Armstrong 7 – Gabi Rubbe hit a two-run walk-off home run to lead Penn-Trafford (7-2, 5-1) to a Section 2-5A win. Ava Heller and Torrie DeStefano each had three hits and an RBI for the Warriors. Natalie Zeigler had two hits and two RBIs for Armstrong (6-3, 6-1).

Plum 10, Mars 0 – Mackenzie Marotta struck out seven in five innings and singled and doubled at the plate while Lily Deluca tripled, homered and drove in two runs for Plum (6-2, 4-2) in Section 1-5A. Abbey Leff had two hits and three RBIs for the Mustangs. Alyson Mazurek went 3 for 3 with a double for Mars (1-6, 1-5).

Seneca Valley 13, Pine-Richland 10 – Paige Volz went 3 for 5 with a home run and six RBIs and Julia Valasek doubled and drove in three RBIs to lead Seneca Valley (6-1, 4-1) to a Section 1-6A win. Abbey Laurent had a single, home run and three RBIs for Pine-Richland (2-5, 1-4).

Serra Catholic 17, Ellis School 2 – Johanna Domek went 2 for 2 with a double and four RBIs, Kelly Morrissey tripled and drove in two runs and Shia Jones hit a grand slam to lead Serra Catholic (3-4, 2-0) to a Section 3-A win over Ellis School (0-1, 0-1).

Seton LaSalle 14, Fort Cherry 0 – Layla Chapman threw a five-inning one-hitter, struck out seven and went 4 for 4 with a double, home run and four RBIs to lead Seton LaSalle (4-1, 2-1) past Fort Cherry (0-4, 0-4) in a Section 3-2A win. Kara Collins went 3 for 4 with a triple and three RBIs and Zoey Charlton drove in three runs for the Rebels.

Sewickley Academy 8, South Side 3 – Gabby Edmunds went 3 for 4 with two doubles and two RBIs and Charlotte Andrews doubled and drove in two runs to lead Sewickley Academy (2-1, 2-1) to a Section 1-A win. Emma DeLong went 2 for 3 with a double and RBI for South Side (2-3, 0-2).

Shenango 15, Aliquippa 0; Shenango 16, Aliquippa 0 – Shenango (8-1, 4-1) swept Aliquippa (0-3, 0-3) in a Section 1-2A doubleheader. In the first game, Sydney Byerly had a double, triple and RBI and Tonilynn Mielke doubled and drove in a run. In the second game, Byerly went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBIs and Brianna Aluisa had two doubles and an RBI for the Wildcats. Faith Riley singled for the Quips.

South Allegheny 16, Shady Side Academy 2 – Cadence McBridge went 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI and Jordyn Stetor went 4 for 4 with a double, triple and two RBIs to lead South Allegheny (4-3, 3-0) to a Section 2-2A win. Becca Schriver hit a home run for Shady Side Academy (0-2, 0-2).

Trinity 11, Albert Gallatin 0 – Ally Krenzelak went 3 for 3 with two doubles and two RBIs and Elora Friend, Emma Starr and Maddie Ray tripled and drove in two runs apiece to lead Trinity (9-1, 4-1) to a Section 4-5A win. Mackenzie Chapman went 2 for 2 for Albert Gallatin (0-7, 0-6).

West Allegheny 6, South Fayette 2 – Alexis Santucci went 3 for 4 with a double, triple and three RBIs to lead West Allegheny (5-0, 3-0) to a Section 3-5A win. Liv Bonacci doubled for South Fayette (3-6, 2-3).

Western Beaver 21, Ambridge 8 – Channing Chaffee went 2 for 3 with a double and four RBIs and Cadence Verba homered and drove in two runs to lead Western Beaver (3-2) to a nonsection win. Caylin Fedora went 2 for 3 with a double, home run and five RBIs and Taylor Thompson homered for Ambridge (0-4).

Plum 9, Franklin Regional 7 – Carly Venanzi and Natalie Wagner each had two goals and an assist and Malayna Smith made 16 saves to lead Plum to a nonsection win.

Pine-Richland 16, Shady Side Academy 7 – Mallory Boivin collected eight goals and two assists and Claire Mill had four goals and two assists to lead Pine-Richland to a Section 1-3A win. Cate Gentile had two goals and two assists, Ella Tarasovich added a goal and an assist, Leyton Carlson also scored and Cara Murray made nine saves for the Rams.
