Sheetz expands into Indiana

Pittsburgh-area drivers heading west to the state of Indiana may soon see a familiar logo at the gas pump.

Sheetz announced Tuesday that the company is expanding into Indiana, as the Pennsylvania-based convenience store and gas station chain continues its push into the Midwest.

The Altoona-based chain, known for its made-to-order food, plans to open its first store in the greater Indianapolis area in 2027, with about 100 locations expected statewide over the next decade.

“Over the past several years, we have received a significant number of inquiries from Indiana residents who want to see Sheetz in their communities,” said Travis Sheetz, president and CEO in a news release.

Details on the exact locations and time frame for the first location’s opening have not been released.
