A Greensburg man accused by police of raping a teenage girl was arrested Thursday.

Greensburg police said DNA belonging to Bill Rey Murray, 29, was found on clothing worn by the girl who reported the sexual assault in October, according to court papers.

Murray denied sexual contact with the girl during a police interview.

Police said a forensic analysis of evidence provided to the state police crime lab showed DNA connected to Murray, according to court papers.

He is charged with rape, statutory sexual assault, child endangerment and related offenses. Murray was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison without bail. A preliminary hearing is set for April 30.
