The Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday hosted a pair of NFL Draft prospects who have been widely considered as possibilities to be their first-round pick.
Toledo safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren and USC wide receiver Makai Lemon were joined by late-round prospect Marlin Klein — a tight end from Michigan — as those who were present at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.
McNeil-Warren is a fascinating prospect because of his size (6-foot-3½, 200 pounds), speed (4.52 seconds in the 40-yard dash) and production (third-team AP All America honors). A three-year starter, McNeil-Warren had 13 takeaways (five interceptions, eight forced fumbles) over his final 32 college games.
Makai Lemon is going to be really, really good.

Regarded as perhaps the best pure slot receiver in the draft, Lemon (5-11, 192) won the 2025 Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top college wide receiver after he had 79 catches, 1,156 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns for USC.
Klein (6-6, 248) was part of Michigan’s national title team of 2023 and started half of the Wolverines’ games over the ensuing two seasons. A team captain and honorable mention all-Big Ten in 2025, the German-born Klein had 24 catches for 248 yards and a touchdown.
The Pittsburgh-staged NFL Draft begins April 23. Twenty of the 30 Steelers’ allotted official visits have been confirmed, though some local prospects are exempt from the limit and are additional visitors.
