The Diocese of Greensburg announced it will take part in an international prayer vigil Saturday.
The event is part of a worldwide call for prayer in the Catholic Church and will coincide with a a vigil led by Pope Leo XIV in Rome.
The local vigil will be at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Main Street, Greensburg, 11 a.m. to noon.
“As we celebrate the glory of the Resurrection during these days when our world is marked by division, conflict, and uncertainty …” Bishop Larry J. Kulick said in a release.
The vigil is intended to express solidarity with Pope Leo XIV and the global Catholic community, according to the diocese.
