Forward Gabe Klassen had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, whose six-game winning streak was snapped with a 6-5 overtime loss to the Bridgeport Islanders at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Conn., on Thursday.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (43-16-7-2) also got goals from forwards Atley Calvert and Tanner Howe, as well as defensemen Harrison Brunicke and Finn Harding.

Making his American Hockey League debut, Penguins forward Mikhail Ilyin opened the contest on the right wing of the third line and recorded an assist.

Goaltender Sergei Murashov stopped 22 of 28 shots as his record tumbled to 23-8-4.

The Islanders scored three goals in the final 17:30 of regulation before winning when forward Pierrick Dube scored at 4:22 of the overtime period.
